UPDATE: April 27, 2008


I'm so sorry guys. I know I pushed the Tournament of Nobodies round one end back until yesterday at midnight. I know I've been telling people "sorry no extentions cause I made a 2 week one for your guys already" and ya-da-ya-da-ya-da... But as I tried to read some of the entries last night my I found myself unable to comprehend anything to the point of re-reading the same page for half an hour.

Now this is not saying that people drew junk submissions. No no, not at all! The problem is I'm still sick. T_T I have a fever and a really bad cough (at least I'm not coughing up blood any more). Because of this I can't read the submissions. If I can't read them, I can't judge them. If I can't judge them yet, why let those extra days where I can't judge go to waste?

So (the point! Finally!) I'm giving you guys a couple of extra days to turn in your entries, despite what I have been saying before. I'm just guessing here, but I'm predicting that I should FINALLY be well enough to read the entries again by Wednesday, so I'm making that the new deadline. But please keep this in mind, I PROMISE this will be the ABSOLUTE LAST DEADLINE!

I give my deepest apologies to those of you who have already submitted your entries on time. You've all had to wait so long. I can guarantee that round 2 will not be this long. It is honestly a ridiculous amount of time. As for those of you who have yet to turn it in. Consider yourselves lucky....again.

Now please excuse me while I have a coughing fit and attempt to not pass out.

Have you guys realized that this club is now a year old? ^_^ YAY! In celebration, we added a special mission (#28) along with a couple of other new missions as well.

Also, an update on the April Fool's day event results. We apologize for taking so long on the judging but everyone had such great and funny entries that we honestly had a hard time trying to decide on a winner. Can you believe it? So, we settled on this... EVERYONE who participated in the April Fool's Day event will be included in the Kiriban picture! "What?! OMG NO WAI"! Yes way! We'll have the pic posted as soon as it's completed so hang tight for that one.

Have you guys seen the new FAQ section? Scroll down and check out the left side. You'll see it under the "desktop" area. Hopefully that will clear up a lot of questions people have had with and about the club.

In other news, would like to challenge the winner of the Tournament of Nobodies to a write/draw off. Since the Tournament will not be ending for a while, I'll repost this again as a reminder closer to the ending date. It's entirely up to the winner if they would like to do this or not since it is not an actual part of the tournament, but we're just letting everyone participating know that it's out there.

Finally, those of you participating in the Tournament of Nobodies, this part is for you!
The deadline for round 1 has been pushed back! "OMG WHAT? I GET MOAR TIEM?!" YES! Yes you do! The deadline has been pushed back to Saturday, April 26.
Why 2 weeks, you ask? Well, it's simple, really. and I have a Artist Alley table at Kawaii-Kon. Kawaii-Kon is going to be held April 18th, 19th, and 20th in Hawaii. We need the extra week to prepare our merchandise. We also will need the week after to rest. During the 18th, 19th, and 20th, we will be on vacation from the club. Feel free to submit things, we'll get to them when we return. We are giving the extra time for the round because we would like to be able to judge everyone fairly in a state where we will not be RUSHED to make decisions. Rather than keep the current deadline and make everyone wait 2+ weeks for a result, we figured it best to give the 2 extra week to you guys to work on your pieces. That means if you've already submitted a piece, go ahead and edit it if you like and send us the updated version after. you've got 2 EXTRA WEEKS! Use it wisely.
